Maybe you’ve noticed the Fabulous Artistic Moms badge on the sidebar. Maybe you haven’t. If you haven’t noticed it, take a look! It’s two shades of pink/purple and invites you to join me and other Fabulous Artistic Moms, or FAM for short.
So what the heck is FAM, you wonder? In short, we are a sassy group of Moms who create art of all kinds and sell on the Etsy marketplace. You’ll just have to take my word that we’re a lot more fun than laundry or dishes. But that stuff gets talked about (and done) too! We’re either WAHM, SAHM, or workplace moms, but we’re ALL moms! We all have kids–the ages vary from the unborn to adult children–of some age. Some of us have pets to maintain, too, but this is about the human variety of kids.

These beautiful jewelry pieces were inspired by my mom’s and MIL’s birthdays, both in June. All the pieces were well received and I have listed these on Etsy. Click on the pics for larger view.
My mother received a pair of crystal pearl earrings suspended on sterling silver:

For my MIL, who has done SO much for us over the years that Del and I have been married, I made a necklace and earring set. Also done in sterling silver, but these are freshwater pearl lentil beads with Swarovski crystals mixed in. The pendant is dichroic glass:

…so I had to put it to paper! It’s been about 20 years (literally) since I picked up art pencils to draw seriously. I think I did a fair job.
“The Artist” is a 5″ x 9″ colored pencil drawing. The young girl in the scene is standing back admiring her art before she gets caught. Enhanced by Sami, age 3. (She drew the “art” in the picture and had much fun squiggling on Mommy’s picture.) Clickable image.

I’m so excited to announce that I finally have new listings posted! Some are at Etsy, some at eCrater. Click the images for more information and larger images.
First, I have redesigned the pearl and moonstone bracelet. It is now a very elegant looking double stranded bracelet and a steal at $150. 
Second, I am offering earrings designed by my 11-year-old son Will. He had a job shadow opportunity from school, and these cute little flower earrings were designed by him during that time. He calls them “Belle Flowers.” 
I’ve been dabbling with the polymer clay and came up with these petite ladybugs. They are life-size and are oh, so darling when worn as earrings. I can make you a set of just the cabs if you desire, but here’s the listing for the earrings.
